    American Society Of Civil Engineers

    ASCE

    Formed in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), is the oldest engineering society in the United States. As a national membership, ASCE represents more than 115,000 professional members and over 15,000 students. ASCE seeks to enhance the quality of living world-wide by advancing professional knowledge and improving the civil engineering practice. The student chapter allows civil engineering students to become involved in engineering competitions, networking/socials, and community service projects. ASCE serves as a job hotline linking students with opportnities into the industry.

    ASCE at FAU

    The objective of ASCE at Florida Atlantic University Student Chapter is to encourage students to excel not just in the classroom but within the Civil Engineering profession. ASCE aims to provide the leadership and teamwork experience essential to becoming a professional engineer. Members work in teams to design, build, and compete in national competitions, network with Engineers, learn about the local community and environment, and establish lifelong relationships with students, educators, and professionals.

    The ASCE@FAU Student Chapter is the largest engineering organization on campus. We strive to properly prepare our members for their future careers and provide opportunities for students to learn how to communicate effectively, lead, and work as a team in a professional engineering environment.

    Design . Build . Compete

    ASCE@FAU aims to provide the leadership and teamwork experience. Members work in team’s to design, build, and compete in national competitions, network, & help the local community and environment.

    Invest in the next generation of employees who will have the skills and abilities to solve issues in engineering and business industries. We strive to represent ASCE@FAU and our sponsors the best way possible as we compete with 27 Southeastern Universities.
